MICROWAVE FLAX MUFFINS

ImageZACH’S MOM RECENTLY SHOWED ME THIS RECIPE FOR DELICIOUS FLAX MUFFINS THAT LITERALLY ONLY TAKE 4 MINUTES TO MAKE. THEY ARE SUPER TASTY, LOW CARB AND HIGH IN FIBER AND GOOD FATS.

  • 1/4 CUP FLAX SEED MEAL
  • 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER
  • 1/4 TSP STEVIA POWDER (OPTIONAL)
  • 1 EGG WHITE
  • SEE BELOW FOR OPTIONAL FLAVORS

DIRECTIONS:

  1.  MIX ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS IN A COFFEE MUG
  2. MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR ONE MINUTE
  3. ENJOY!

MAKE THEM EVEN TASTIER BY ADDING

  • COCONUT FLAKES
  • 1/2 BANANNA
  • 1 APPLE DICED OR 1/4 CUP APPLESAUCE
  • 1/4 CUP CANNED PUMPKIN
  • CRAISINS
  • DRIED GOJI BERRIES
  • 1 TBSP REAL MAPLE SYRUP
  • 1 TBSP UNSWEETENED ALMOND BUTTER
  • ADDING A JAR OF BABY FOOD IS ALWAYS A GOOD OPTION TOO! ADDS MORE OF A SWEET TASTE AND MOISTURE WITHOUT ADDING PRESERVATIVES.
